A leader in polytechnic education Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning (Humber), founded in 1967, offers innovative, career-focused learning opportunities. It's 350 full-and part-time programs include bachelor's degrees, diploma, certificate,apprenticeship and postgraduate programs. Humber offers more than 330 fully online courses and more than 40 fully online programs. These programs provide learners with the flexibility to complete individual courses or complete certificate, diploma, and postgraduate certificate programs through distance studies. Also available are a wide range of general education courses including communications, writing skills, humanities, psychology, political geography, sociology and philosophy.

The Open Learning Centre (OLC) is a concierge service for students interested in online studies. The OLC is physically located at Humber's main campus, however, staff assist students in a variety of ways including telephone, email and live chat. The OLC web site offers such resources as: tip sheets, demo courses, self assessments and scheduling off-campus proctored exam.
