Kansas State University: Online Engineering Professional Development Courses Offered in Summer by K-State
Kansas State University's College of Engineering has teamed with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to offer six-week professional development online courses in engineering topics for the summer term. Summer course sessions will be June 2-July 11 and are offered for one hour of undergraduate college credit through K-State. Many of the courses are approved by Engineering Management Certification International. Available summer courses include: Leading Individuals and Project Teams, DEN 302; Market Research, Technology Updates and Environmental Scanning, DEN 303; Developing Products, Services and Processes, DEN 304; Planning and Adjusting Business Strategies, DEN 305; Engineering Maintenance, Operations and Change, DEN 306; Financial Resources and Procurement, DEN 307; Professional Responsibility, DEN 308; Problems/Project Management for Engineers and Technical Professionals, DEN 398; Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing I - Drawing Interpretation, DEN 330; Basic Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing II, DEN 431; Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing III, DEN 432; Lean Manufacturing, DEN 335
